A post can go into a category and then shown in different places on the website. By default a post is "uncategorized" but I have also put this one into the "News" category.
Over on the right, I chose "Page Layout" No Sidebar.
On the right is also where you save as a draft or publish this post. You can change the publication date, handy if you write a bunch at once and want to schedule them to go out every so often.
